9th Alpbach Workshop on
March 11-13 2019
The 2019 workshop took place on March 11-13. Please contact us to be placed on the mailing list for a possible next meeting.
In order to participate in our meeting, please use the forms provided for Registration and Accommodation. You are very welcome to submit an abstract for consideration as a poster or oral presentation. Following the meeting, there will be an opportunity for publication in New Biotechnology, Impact Factor 3.733, as for the previous meetings. Four poster prizes of € 250 each have been kindly sponsored (two each) by VIB Conferences and Elsevier.
In order to keep the familiar character of our meeting, participant numbers are limited to about 120. This ensures excellent networking opportunities, both during the sessions and the dinners, which are included for all participants. So book early to avoid disappointment!
The registration fee of € 650 + VAT includes access to all sessions of the meeting, meeting booklet, lunches, coffee breaks, pre-meeting reception buffet and the final party.
Accompanying persons are welcome to join for the dinners and the party at
€ 55 + VAT per evening.
Alpbach is a small village, offering a range of accommodation from 4* Hotels to small bed and breakfast guesthouses to suit all budgets. For the meeting, we have secured accommodation which can be booked through the Congress Centre by using the Accommodation Link. All our accommodation is within a few minutes’ walking distance of the Congress Centre.
Once you have registered, you can submit an abstract for a poster or short presentation.
A number of programme slots will be available for short presentations chosen from participant abstracts. We will inform you by mid February whether your abstract has been chosen for a presentation or a poster. All posters will be available throughout the meeting, and there will be several sessions for poster-viewing with food and drink provided. Four poster prizes of € 250 each will be sponsored by VIB conferences and Elsevier. All accepted abstracts will be included in the meeting booklet.
